TYING INSTRUCTION
  1. Insert the hook in the vise, attach the thread, and build a good thread base the full length of the hook's shank.

  2. Tail - Attach about 30 dyed chartreuse deer body hairs at the hook's bend with tying thread.

  3. Butt - Tie in 3 pecock herls at the tail tiein point, twist around the tying thread counterclockwise 4 or 5 times, wrap a 3 wrap butt, secure the peacock herl with the tying thread and trim the excess. Tie in a single strand of pearl saltwater Flashabou immediately at the front of the butt.

  4. Body - Form and a tying thread dubbing loop and twist a noodle of #22 SLF, wrap forward to normal head space, secure with tying thread and trim the excess dubbing loop.

  5. Shell Back - Fold the saltwater Flashabou over the back of the fly, secure at the front of the dubbed body with tying thread and trim the excess close.

  6. Head - Fashion a tapered tying thread head, whip finish and cement.
