- Hook - Mustad 3906, size 6
- Thread - Danville's 3/0, Black Thread
- Body - Chenille, Green
- Hackle - Saddle Hackle, Black/White
Tying Instruction
- Wrap ahead 1mm the center of the hook to the hook bend.
- Tie in chenille and hackle, then wrap thread up to within 3mm of the hook eye.
- Wrap chenille tightly up to meet the thread wrap and secure. Trim excess.
- Wrap hackle at 1mm increments up to the end of chenille wrap and secure. Trim excess.
- Wrap head to the hook end, whip finish and cement.
