Materials List
- Hook - Tiemco 2487 size 20,20
- Thread - Black 8/0 Uni-Thread or Danville
- Wing - White CDC feather
- Bennechi midge chenille
- Thorax - Rabbit fur
Tying Instruction
- Tie the thread to the hook-Attach the fine chenille at the bend of the hook with the desired extension.
- Tie in the CDC feather-with the tips pointing over the back of the midges extension.
- Dub the thorax portion of the fly-be careful not crowd the hook eye. LEAVE ROOM. Pick out dubbing a bit for more bug-like resemblance.
- Pull CDC feathet tips over thorax body and fasten down at hook eye-Pull tips back from the hook eye and apply proper whip finish or half hitches.
- Apply small amount of flame to extension.
