ADDITIONAL NOTES
Justin Shurtleff gave me this fly a few months before his death in an auto accident. Justin was a bona-fide 7 feet tall and could wade where only angels feared to tread. His favorite river was South West Montana's Gallatin and is where "Justin's Bug" was born. I seriuosly considered not including "Justin's Bug" in the pattern book but my friend was easily as generous as he was tall and I'm sure would not have objected. This fly is the Gallatin River brown trout getter though it has proven excellent for all S. W. Montana rivers including the Madison, Jefferson, Big Hole and Beaverhead.
