MATERIALS LIST
- Hook - Daiichi 1270, Orvis 1510, Mustad 80050BR, Eagle Claw LO52, Tiemco 200R.
- Thread - Black 6/0 or smaller.
- Tail - Black marabou.
- Abdomen - Black dubbing.
- Thorax - Black dubbing.
- Head - Tying thread
TYING INSTRUCTION
- Insert a hook in the vise and build a good thread base.
- Tail - Attach a sparse marabou tail at the hooks bend with tying thread.
- Abdomen/Thorax - Apply sufficient dubbing to form a thin tapered abdomen and a thorax. Thorax should be 2 times the size of the abdomen.
- Head - Form a tapered tying thread head, whip finish and cement.
