MATERIALS LIST
- HOOK - Daiichi 1270, Orvis 1510, Tiemco 200R or any 3X long nymph or streamer hook. Size 12 to 4.
- THREAD - 8/0 Bright Orange Uni Thread.
- HEAD - Red Glass Bead.
- TAIL - Burnt Orange Marabou and 2 Strands of Angler's Choice Copper Angel Hair.
- BODY - Burnt Orange Sparkle Chenille.
- HACKLE - Grizzly Micro-barb dyed burnt orange.
- LEGS - Micro-barb grizzly hackle dyed orange.
TYING INSTRUCTION- Head - Slip a bead onto the hook to the hook's eye. Insert the hook in the vise attach the thread and build a good thread base.
- Tail - Tie in a sparse clump of burnt orange marabou the length of the hook shank and trim the excess. Tie in two strands of copper Angel Hair on each side of the tail. Trim to equal the the tail's length.
- Body - Tie in the hackle and the sparkle chenille and wrap the chenille forward to the bead, secure with tying thread and trim the excess.
- Hackle - Palmer the hackle forward to the bead head, secure with tying thread and trim the excess feather. Whip finish and cement if you like.
