This is the home page for The USGenWeb Project . Consisting of a group of volunteers working together to provide Internet websites for genealogical research in every county and every state of the United States, the Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free access for everyone. The WorldGenWeb Project was created in 1996 by Dale Schneider in an effort to answer the ever growing needs of genealogists world-wide who were trying to research their ancestors. The goal of the WorldGenWeb Project is to have every country in the world represented by an online website and hosted by researchers who either live in their own country or who are familiar with their country's resources.

www.my-ged.com is an extremely fast database server especially crafted for genealogy research on the Internet. If you have spent the time and effort to develop a genealogy database on your PC and would like to share your work with others, then this is the best place to do so. Family Search is an amazing site that includes Ancestral File and the International Genealogical Index, which is sponsered by The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.

GenForum is a conglomeration of message boards (some people call them queries, we call them forums). Anyone can post to these forums and immediately have their data shared with other researchers. GENEALOGY GEMS

Dennis Partridge has set up The Partridge Nest, a place for all Partridge's and the variant spellings of that surname. What we propose is that you build a nest for one of your major surnames too someplace where you can gather all your cousins together. The SurnameWeb links to all the nests on the web, there are 350 so far, where you can go to meet your cousins. More than 65,000 links!52,550 links, categorized & cross-referenced, in over 120 categories. Another 12,400+ uncategorized new links in the works.

On these pages you will find the Surnames and known information on a person that is "MOST WANTED". The information listed has been submitted by a researcher who is requesting your help.... The researcher's e-mail address or their snail mail address has been provided should you have any information or leads to assist them in their search for their "MOST WANTED".

With this form, you can now search an entire country or the entire world for your surnames (more extensive county searches can be performed within the county).

Surname Helper Search for a Surname is a surname searchable database of queries and surname registrations posted on various genealogy sites. Participating sites include some USGenWeb and WorldGenWeb sites, some managed with CCHelper and some not, and other sites managed by CCHelper.
