UPDATED INFORMATION ! May 31, 1999 I've decided to return ALL QSL's received regarding this matter . Those who sent an S.A.S.E. will be getting their card and IRC's or money sent back to them . Those who did not send an S.A.S.E. will still be getting their cards and IRC's or money back and I'll pick up the postage and envelope cost . The DX stations who sent cards and IRC's will also be getting their cards back at my expense. I'm sorry that I was unable to become YU1OJ's manager , I would have enjoyed being of service to him ! Thanks to all for your patience and understanding regarding this matter , much appreciated ! Steve , KA7NOC I have been the QSL manager for Zoran, YU1PJ, since the early '90's. Zoran and I lost contact with each other during the upheaval in Yugoslavia during the fighting . Back in the early days , Zoran would send me his logs and QSL information. I had QSL cards printed up for him ( I still have hundreds of them ) . I performed the duties of QSL manager for Zoran, making out cards and addressing envelopes and sending them off to other hams for their reply. When I received cards for Zoran, I'd send them along to him. He sent what money he could , I picked up the rest of the tab. Zoran mentioned that other hams in YU would like me as their manager. I said ..."Of course I'd do it " . Then the war broke out and we lost contact with each other. It has been sporadic ever since. I have started receiving cards for YU1OJ as well as YT9C. I have no idea who these stations are. I have never been contacted by either station asking me if I would handle their cards ! I have finally found what I think is the correct address of station YU1OJ, and have sent him a letter telling him that I'd be happy to be his QSL manager. He needs to communicate with me via regular mail or e-mail. I am currently awaiting his reply. In the mean time I have put together this page for anyone interested in knowing this story. If you have sent me , KA7NOC, a QSL card for either of these stations please bare with me. I am working on it and would very much enjoy being these stations QSL manager !!! It is difficult at times not knowing if your mail is getting though or not. I have listed below all of the cards that I've received , along with information regarding the status of any money or SASE's that have been sent. If you do send me a card, PLEASE send along an SASE ( Self Addressed STAMPED Envelope ) as it cuts down my cost of handling the card.
