You will again be wondering ... " WHAT'S THIS BIRD BEEN SMOKING ? "... !
PROCEED....
Here's some different pics of my old classic rigs . Not all of the pics on this page will be ham gear , you'll also find some very smashing AM radios . As well as some far out shortwave receivers from the 40's and cool 50's ! This IS my bag and it really freaks me out, yeaaaahhh ! I hope that you cats enjoy them as much as I do . All of these rigs are in operation and fully functional . Most have been repaired by yours truly with tender loving care. So, lets again turn back the clock to that really groovy, electric, psychedelic era, and bask in the glow of the electron tubes !! Hold on to the magic carpet and lets get "FREAKED OUT BABY !"
Here's a shot of my NCX-200 National transceiver ( circa. 1966 ) . It's a five band ( 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter ) SSB/CW rig . It uses a pair of 6JB6's in the final tank circuit , to produce a whooping 125 watt signal ! I've journeyed far and away to 40 meter land with this rig ! Far out , man !

Another shot of the NCX-200 . As you can see , this rig is in excellent condition . You don't see many of these rigs around . I picked this baby up at a ham swapmeet several years ago . Smashing rig , don't ya think ? Yeah , yeah baby , yeah !!!!

Below is a really groovy transceiver ! It's a Galaxy V ( circa. 1965 ) . It uses a pair of 6HF5's in the final tank circuit to produce a 200 watt input signal ! I love the red / white / and blue analog dial . This rig was in sorry shape when I picked it up , but with a little work , she turned out pretty nice . This is my bag and it really Freaks me out baby, yaaaaahhhhhhh !!!

The Groovy Galaxy V again . Really a groovy trip baby, yaaaaahhhhhh ! Honestly...... it's my scene baby...... AND IT REALLY FREAKS ME OUT !!!!!!!!!

Here's a shot of the Groovy Galaxy V on a really wild psychedelic trip ! I think this was during a sweepstakes contest , or maybe it was CQWW ? Bitchen huh ?

Ok , here's my National NC-57 shortwave receiver . This bird is in really good condition , looks like it sat on some cats shelf for years before I got it . The only work I've done to it so far is install a new power cord and clean it up . This rig has guided me thru many trips to far off lands where I've met many interesting people !

A close up shot of the NC-57 , love that dial and speaker !
Here's the newest addition to my collection . It's a Crosley AM Clock radio ! I received this as a present from my parents for my birthday . This rig looks like the dashboard on a 1950's automobile ! You can even plug in your coffee maker and set the timer to start brewing your favorite cup of java !
The Crosley again , up close this time .
Peace
