The recent shooting of two Jerome county sheriff's deputies and a drug suspect in Eden on January 3rd has raised a lot of questions.  Answers are slow in coming until the investigation is completed by the Idaho State Police.  However, Newsradio 1310 KLIX has been able to get information from those we consider as "reliable" sources.  All the information included here is thought to be true and correct based on the reliability of our sources.  Below is a list of facts we believe to be true.  This information is being made available for information only and is in no way meant as disrespect for the officials or victims or their families involved.  Some of the information is somewhat graphic.  If it will bother you to read the information, then don't read it!  This information is believed to be true and correct as far as we know but it's accuracy cannot be guaranteed.  However much of the information was taken from the first  Inventory Report compiled by investigating officers of the Idaho State Police.

The "girlfriend" of 47 year old Timothy Williams and "confidential informant" used by Jerome county in it's investigation of Williams is believed to be one and the same person.  That person is believed to be in a safe location somewhere in the Magic Valley.  We were told that Tim Williams alleged girlfriend was not present at Williams funeral last Wednesday.

There were at least 22 shell casings found on the floor of the Eden home where the shooting took place.  At least 13 or more 9mm caliber casings were found in the upstairs master bedroom and closet where the body of Tim Williams was allegedly found.  This was confirmed by the inventory report obtained by KLIX.  Other casings in the house included .45 caliber.

Williams was reportedly using a .44 magnum single action pistol which requires cocking before each shot is fired.  That weapon does not eject casings as a semi-automatic weapon does.  The cylinder must be removed from the gun and  the casings individually removed by hand.

The body of one deputy was allegedly found in the garage of the home.  The body of the second deputy was allegedly found at the base of the stairway leading to the upstairs.  The third body, believed to be that of Tim Williams,  was found in the master bedroom closet with a number of bullet wounds, especially in the lower body area.

There was a very small amount of marijuana found in the home. According to one source,  "about enough to maybe make a half a marijuana cigarette".  Drug scales and a marijuana pipe were also found in the house.  The inventory report confirms there was a small amount of marijuana residue found in the house.

After the incident the warrant was sealed for ten days.  No one will say why.  Key information on that warrant includes the address where the warrant was to be served and the officer or person who requested the warrant.  If the officer or person who requested the warrant was not present during the execution of the warrant, that is said to be a violation.

A gag order may have been imposed on all Jerome County employees concerning the leaking of information to the press and others.
