KLIX NEWS TEAM BIO's
Suzanne Jusst
Suzanne
was born in Everett, Washington and moved to Southern Idaho in her early teens.
She graduated with honors from Camas County High School in Fairfield
where she also worked as a reporter, assistant editor and editor of the Camas
County news paper, The Snowshoe.
While still in high
school she had some of her writings published in Seventeen
magazine. She received
scholarships to attend college at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho where
she also began her career as a professional musician, singer and songwriter.
Suzanne has been in the entertainment business for most of her life.
Starting out as a folksinger touring around the country playing in pubs
and coffeehouses, she eventually made the move to Nashville to write songs for
the recording industry. She’s had
many songs published—but is still anticipating her first major “cut” on a
successful recording artist to give her that first big break! She has two
professional recordings of her own under her belt One
Mile High and Another Planet which
feature her original songs. She
returned to Southern Idaho from Nashville in 1996 with her two daughters Caitlin
and Beth. Because she has fully
recovered from a life-threatening eating disorder, she travels to schools and
civic organizations to share her story and play her music in hopes of helping
others. She is currently working on
a book she intends to donate to schools so more young women and men can learn
how to overcome eating disorders and other addictions. Suzanne began working at Newsradio 1310 KLIX in the Spring of
1998 and is now News Director and co-host of Idaho Today. For
