Information: Goose hunting in Idaho is rapidly becoming one of the most popular forms of hunting. Goose hunting begins (in most areas of Idaho) on October 4 and officially ends on the 11th of January.

Lanning Morrison of Twin Falls is an avid goose hunter. Lanning has been hunting since 1978. He hunts in AREA 3-SECTION (arguably the best hunting area in Idaho). Any and all hunters interested in goose OR duck hunting should contact Lanning Morrison at the page provided here. Listed below are Idaho's hunting areas, bag limits, and general rules pertaining to the hunting of geese in Idaho.
