Of the many lessons I have learned during my twelve years of home education, the most valuable has been learning to wait on the Lord. Wait for His calling, wait for His direction and His coming; not idly, but occupied with His business. I have enjoyed playing and teaching piano, playing the flute, and teaching ballet. It is my desire that these activities have and will continue to glorify God. My goals include being a music teacher, and eventually a godly wife and mother; but most importantly, I desire to serve my Lord and others more completely, by waiting on the Lord and being renewed by His surpassing strength.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.
