Gunter and the rest of his crew would like to welcome you to their comfortable
cabins and the fantastic view of Stanley, Idaho. Stanley has an elevation
of 6,260 feet. The surrounding Sawtooth Peaks tower 10,000 to 11,000
feet over us. Light breezes in the summer keep the days mild.
The average temperature ranges from 75-80 degrees, with clear, crisp nights.
Our cabins are located 1 1/2 miles north of the town of Stanley and right next to the majestic Salmon River and the rugged Sawtooth Mountains.
River rafting is one of the many outdoor activities that Stanley has to offer.
Stanley is the headquarters for the float trips down the exciting Middle
Fork of the Salmon River and day trips down the main part of the Salmon.
These float trip experiences create wonderful family memories.
Stanley is the gateway to the Sawtooth Wilderness which encompasses over 243,000
acres and the massive 2,300,000 acres of the Frank Church River of No Return
Wilderness. These areas are only accessible by foot or on horse,
and offer an abundant source of glacial lakes and miles of scenic trails.
There are nearly 300 mountain lakes that can be reached by foot.
Our vistors enjoy the solitude and the calmness that these day hikes provide.
